This policy explains how Lantern AI ("we") processes personal data under the GDPR.

What we collect

Your email address and login details, your subscription status, and the topics you enter plus how many videos you create. Payment details are handled by our payment partner — we never see your full card or bank details.

Why

To provide your account and videos (contract), to process payments and taxes (legal obligation), and to prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider, our payment partner, and AI providers that generate the script, voice and video from the text you enter. Generated videos are not stored on our servers after you leave the page.

How long

As long as your account exists, and billing records as long as tax law requires (7 years in the Netherlands).

Your rights
